I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) at the Concordia University in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) under the supervision of Dr. Ferhat Khendek (Concordia) and Dr. Maria Toeroe (Ericsson Canada Inc, Montreal). I am a member of MAGIC team at Concordia/Ericsson.
In August 2015, I have completed my PhD from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Canada under the supervision of Dr. Naouel Moha and Dr. Yann-Gaël Guéhéneuc. My main research interests included Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Antipatterns and Quality of Service (QoS) for Service-based Systems (SBSs). I was a member of Ptidej Team and LATECE Lab.
In December 2010, I had my Masters from University of Trento, Italy in Computer Science with the major on Software Technologies. My MSc thesis was supervised by Dr. Paolo Tonella with the title of “Using Interactive Genetic Algorithm for Requirements Prioritization” (see Research page for the full text).
In December 2005, I finished my Bachelor of Science from International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh in Computer Science and Engineering with the major on Software Engineering. My BSc thesis was supervised by Dr. S. M. Kamruzzaman with the title of “An Efficient Technique for Text Compression“(see Research page for the full text).
From 2011 February to 2011 July, I worked at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento, Italy as a research project collaborator under the direction of Dr. Paolo Tonella and Dr. Angelo Susi. My area of interest was Search-based Software Engineering (SBSE), and its application in software requirements prioritization.
I am originated from Bangladesh. I also traveled through (view the map) Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, and USA. Traveling to new cities and countries is my passion. 🙂
